Message: I didn't speak during remembrances today because I really don't do well speaking to a large crowd, but I remember in my own ways. Barb was the best grandmother a child could ever even hope for. She absolutely spoiled me, shared stories with me, shared recipes with me, taught me to play piano and encouraged me to go further with it than she could take me. I was just such a young kid, but she had a way of treating me more like an adult and trusted me to push myself, often with amazing outcome. She soothed me and took care of me if I was sick, gave with all her heart, truly enjoyed my company and even drove me to Fazoli's or made home made breadsticks when I really just wanted some breadsticks. She always went the extra mile for family and she is loved dearly.
